By 17, Prendergast realized a goal that many artists wait a lifetime to achieve – a spot in the prestigious Galeria JAN in La Jolla, CA. Within the following years, she would go on to complete studies at both the San Francisco Art Institute and California Art Institute as well as travel abroad to Croatia, where she studied under the tutelage of world-renowned artist Joze Ciuha. Drawing early inspiration from artists such as Egon Schiele, Prendergast’s fine-line drawings are precise (perhaps not overall) but lend enough power and strength to the finished piece. Her enigmatic charm and unadulterated presence speak of an artist far beyond her 23 years of age. She has emerged as a variable force in the world of fine arts and looks forward to expanding her work globally. Prendergast currently works and lives in San Diego, CA.
